The route, step by step
- Leave Panama City on the Pan-American Highway
Take the Pan-American Highway west, toward Chame and La Chorrera. It is roughly 60 km from Albrook. - Pass Capira and look for the Chica turnoff
After Capira you will see the road climbing toward Chica and Altos de Campana. That is the entrance to the national park area. - Climb the Chica-Campana road
The road winds up with views over the Gulf of Chame. It is paved; no 4x4 needed, just drive calmly. - Arrive at Villa 692
We are at Carr. Chica-Campana 808, Chica. The gate is signposted. If it is your first time, try to arrive in daylight.

How long is the drive from Panama City to Villa 692?
About 45 minutes in normal traffic, roughly 60 kilometers on the Pan-American Highway plus the climb through Chica.
Do I need a 4x4?
No. The whole route is paved and any car makes it. The climb is steep and winding, so drive calmly and, on a first visit, in daylight.
Is there mobile signal and Wi-Fi?
There is Wi-Fi on the property. Mobile signal on the mountain can be patchy depending on your carrier, so download the map before you drive up.
Can I get there by public transport?
There is no convenient direct route to the villa. A car or a hired service is the practical option. If you need transport, write to us and we will help arrange it.
